Operating Procedures
Norms

These procedures were developed by people attending Circle Of Hope. These are a few but not limited to,
parameters we request of newcomers or those who have been here before.

1. People attending services at Circle Of Hope are asked to be
respectful of others in the group.

2. All cellphones are to be turned off during services between 2:15 - 4:00PM. They may be turned on
during break or after service during coffee hour 4:00 - 5:00PM.

3. Please do not interrupt services, especially during the teaching. If you have
questions,save them for break or go to another area to talk so not to disturb others.

4. Please do not walk around during services. If you need a stretch or to talk to
someone leave the circle to another area so not to disturb others.

5. Prayers of the People limited to 5 minutes or less. This is a time to ask for
prayers for others, yourself or thanking God.

6. Circle Of Hope is not a therapy group. There are no trained professionals here
to conduct a therapy group.

7. Know Your Boundaries. To someone new or someone who has been here; not
everyone is comfortable with physical contact, ask before shaking hands or giving hugs.

8. Absolutely No Harassing (verbal or physical). This includes offensive jokes,
know your audience.
